Your wedding day is an exciting time for everyone, but remember; it’s your day. Make sure that your marriage ceremony is the one that you both want. I work closely with my couples. Together, we can create a wonderful ceremony that you and your loved ones will remember.
A Civil Marriage Celebrant has certain obligations under the Marriage Act 1961 and these will be explained to you at our first meeting. Apart from the compulsory items, the structure and words used in the marriage ceremony are totally your choice.
I offer friendly, inclusive, relaxed, formal, informal and alternate ceremonies whatever suits your requirements for your special day. I give all ceremonies; large or small, the same care, respect and professionalism. Each ceremony is important to me.
The first meeting to discuss your marriage ceremony and lodge the Notice of Intended Marriage can be held at a location convenient to you, in your home or mine, or at another location.
More and more couples are now asking for the use of P.A. systems especially for the larger weddings and for venues where there can be some peripheral noise.
I have a professional system that includes a CD player, a radio headset for my use and a hand held microphone which can be used for family and friends doing readings. After you book me as your celebrant I will offer you a range of ceremonies to think about, then we’ll compose a ceremony that reflects your personalities, lifestyle and beliefs.
Additional meetings can be arranged if required at no extra cost.
I offer a rehearsal to be held just before the wedding day to run through the ceremony so the wedding party feels at ease on the special day.
On your wedding day I will present you with a beautifully presented copy of your wedding ceremony as a memento.
